Black with a medium sized beige head. Bitter, roasty and woody with a hint of anise. Medium finish and body.

On nitro at Spacebar pours a thick, dark black with some white head. Nose is alright, some malt, some burnt toast, mild coffee, dark chocolate, quite grainy. Flavor follows, chewy malts and grains, some bakers chocolate, coffee bean. Dry finish, perhaps a touch TOO full bodied.

Nitro at Kardinal Hall, 3/27/16. Dark brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, maple, nuts, mild and dark chocolate. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, lactose. Thin-medium bodied.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a dark brown color with a small off-white, light tan head. Aroma was light chocolate, light coffee, roasted malts were nice in this one. Light earthy notes, some chocolate on the finish. Pretty standard, but tasty.
