16oz can pours a muddy, oily dark brown/black with no head. Nose is interesting, chocolate, caramel, and... coconut. Flavor is sweet, brown sugar, tamarind, coconut meat, chocolate pods. Full bodied, sweet finish.

Aslin rating #50! 8 oz pour on draft at Aslin, served in a tulip/snifter. Black with nice tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, bits of coconut, gingerbread cookie. Coconut comes out a bit more on the aroma as the beer warms up. Tastes of dark chocolate, coffee, roast, toffee, toasted coconut. Super well masked alcohol. Full body with a dry finish. Probably the best beer I’ve had at Aslin.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a black oil color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma was dark chocolate with a lot of shaved, toasted coconut notes. Flavor was toasted coconut. Alcohol was totally hidden in this one. Liquid Mounds candy.
