Draft at the brewery. Poured a black color. Aroma was light sweet malts, not a whole lot of roast in this one. Light sugar notes, slight sweet milk chocolate. Okay, but lacking roast and a nice dry finish.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a murky, deep brown with some creamy, white head. Nose has chocolate, molasses, brown sugar, malt, a little ice cream. Flavor is sweet, chocolate, rootbeer, molasses, toast, mild coffee. Full, dry finish. Their best beer by a wide margin.
