Frambozschella is the result of the blend of different beers fermented with lactic bacteria and yeasts. It is enriched with beer aged in barrels in the presence of Brettanomyces, a wild yeast that gives a touch of rusticity. The blend is then left to macerate on raspberries for a certain period of time.

Drucken på fat på Bishop Gustav, Malmö. Inget skum eller kolsyra, gyllenfärgad med drag av smutsrosa lätt disig. Syrlig lactodoft som får mig att tänka syrlig rödöl, lätt men fin hallonarom. Riktigt syrlig, vinäger, citron, lätt trätoch och fin hallon. Stram, torr, frisk och riktigt trevlig.

Draft @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a hazy golden pale reddish color color with a small fast disappearing off-white head. Had a fruity sourtart raspberry aroma. Fruity sour tart dry raspberry flavor. Has a fruity sour tart raspberry finish.

Draught @ The Rover. Pours hazy reddish golden with a frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sour and fruity with wheat crackers, raspberry purée, hay, dry soil, lemon juice, unflavored yoghurt and hints of coriander. Taste is very sour and tiny salty with wheat crackers, saltines, lemon juice, raspberries, sour milk, dry soil, hay, coriander, raspberry sorbet and hints of raspberry balsamic vinegar. Mouthfeel is sharp, dry, tart, mouth puckering and light bodied. Finish is sour and tiny salty with crackers, saltines, raspberries, lemon juice, hay, dry soil and sour milk. Intensely sour, rich raspberry fruitiness and all in all a great beer.

On tap at GBG Ö&W 2014. Hazy golden/yellow with a minimal head. This was a fresh and nicely drinkable beer. Sour with raspberries, funk, vinegar, some light notes of wood and citrus. The finish was dry and nicely tart. An excellent beer, really refreshing.

Muddy golden color with medium sized head. The aroma is sour, a bit fruity, raspberries, perfumy soap, but also some acetone. Dry mouthfeel, strong acidity, lemon, but also light vinegar and acetone.
Imprecise, still has to grow in quality.

[10/18/13] Draught at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Murky pinkish orange. Nice sour aroma with lots of raspberries, some funk and oaky notes. Sour flavor with lots of raspberry and some lemon. Medium-bodied. Very good and refreshing.

19/10/2013 Eurhop (tap). Pesca giallona, fangosa, schiuma biancastra: pessima a vedersi. Al naso sporca, lamponi, note di cantina, netto acetico, non proprio il massimo dell’eleganza. In bocca è acida decisa, acetica, un po’ scontrosa, forse troppo giovane. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Può avere margini, così com’è non mi ha fatto una bella impressione.
