A pale blonde colour and fine creamy-white head which clings to the glass.
The aroma is very balanced with a fruity, flowery background and an initial Chardonnay impression which evolves into a spicy, mild aroma of hops. A pleasant sparkling carbonate content produces a soft, full taste perception. The taste is very full-bodied and is balanced with fruity tones of apple and Chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mild bitterness in its aftertaste and a splendid, round feel in the mouth which evolves well.
Special beer brewed once a year to mark International Women's Day.

tap - Pours clear gold with a small, white, lingering head. It has a fresh, lemony smell. The flavor is of sweet cereal malt, some mild, crisp hops bitterness, and subdued alcohol. Good brew.

Tap at Gollem, Antwerp. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is dry crisp yeast, alcohol, light caramel, honey. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry yeast, light toffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tremens lite !

The "ladies’ beer" in the Delirium family, vintage bottle at Kulminator. Frothy, snow white, lacing head over a clear, pale golden blonde beer with strong fizz. Aroma of iron (head stabilizing agents!), bubblegum, cereals, cooked cabbage (DMS), stale sweat, plastic, grass, banana, white bread. Grainy main taste with fairly strong acetaldehyde (green apple and raw rhubarb), strong ’Belgian’ banana (isoamylacetate) too, bubblegummy even, strong carbo, doughy and lightly bready malt base, metallic, grassy hop bitterish finish with warming, ’jenever’-like alcohol and plastic-like phenolic accent. More grainy and ’Duvel-like’ still than the regular version, but not necessarily better; I applaud the fact that this was made in honour of International Women’s Day of course, but it remains a rather bland, metallic, dull Huyghe beer and it could not convince me, I’m afraid.
