Recently, Dan Cimera, a longtime friend and former bartender of Brix City passed away unexpectedly. An incredibly kind, funny, and down-to-earth guy, he will be dearly missed. In honor of Dan, we brewed up a special batch of Mole Man Fishman, a beer that was originally created from Dan’s nickname here at the brewery.
Mole Man Fishman is an 8.5% NE style DIPA. For this new batch we updated the recipe and brewed this one with a Wheat-heavy base before Double Dry Hopping it with loads of Citra and El Dorado. Pouring a pale yellow color, we’re finding tropical notes of candied citrus, pear, tangerine, juicy watermelon, and ripe stone fruit.

Draught @ the brewery (May 2025). Extremely hazy lemon yellow with a foamy off-white head, citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter citrus-mango taste, smooth body, long citrusy finish. Smooth and tasty.
