A collaboration like no other, this beer combines the hop and barley profile of our “40 Mile” IPA and “El Guapo” Agave IPA from O’Connor Brewing Company. The El Dorado hops from 40 Mile provide a tropical profile that is layered with citrus and grapefruit from El Guapo’s blend of West Coast hops. The malt backbone is a unique caramalt blend with an abundance of agave. Two flagship beers blended into one awesome IPA.

Can courtesy of Summer Santa. Thank Nimbleprop! Pours hazy goldenish brown with a frothy offwhite head that leaves some sticky lacing and trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty, fruity, tiny herbal and tiny grassy with caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, mango, papaya, peaches, moist grass, pine needles, lemon balm and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter, fruity and tiny grassy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter with caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, peaches, canned papaya, moist grass, pine needles, aloe vera, black pepper corns, minerals and lemon zest. Nice fruity hop profile. Bit sweet and caramelly but with the fruity hops it works. Smells and tastes to be in good shape, no cardboard. I do detect an undefined kind of aloe vera character, might that be the agave? Solid!

Bomber, 6/8/15. Hazy orange, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of floral, piney, tropical hops, toasted malts, mild agave finish. The taste is tropical, piney, citrus hops, toasted malts, mild agave. Medium bodied, low carbonation, strong lingering bitterness. Found the draft version too sweet, but this is solid.
