12/10/10/11/8/10

Hazy amber beer. Moderate carbonation, dry palate, crisp too. Fairly one dimensional spciy hop, really not much else going on. Decent but plain. 3.1

An orange amber ale with a thick off white head. A pleasant aroma of subdued floral hops, nice caramel malts, classy. In mouth, a smooth yet pungeant pale ale, with nice smooth hops and biscuitty malts, perfectly balanced. Tasted August 14 2010, bieropholie import.

16.9 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA, rated 4/24/10. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium frothy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. The aroma is toffee with floral and citrus hop notes. The taste is bitter citrus hops with some herbal and leafy notes, a bit of caramel and a faint anise-like herbal note. Medium bodied. Very nice beer.

Bottle: Hazy, light amber coloured, smaller firm off-white head; distinctive aromatic herbal-hoppy nose, backed by sweet caramalt and a faint tinge of yeast; solid - drier - bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and smooth; lingering and lingering and lingering dry aromatic hoppy finish with delicate malt and fruits, leading into an noble-hoppy aftertaste. Hoppy days are here again.....
