Ce stout pâtissier incandescent rayonne par l’ajout de cannelle et de piments mexicains tout en déployant un velouté de chocolat et de vanille sur une finale sucrée par l’ajout de lactose. Les piments Ancho, Mulato et Pasilla ont été utilisés pour apporter des notes chocolatées et fruitées ainsi qu’une chaleur à cette bière riche et complexe.

Dark brown colour with a mocha-coloured head that seems pretty big, but does not lasts long, with no lacing left. Getting some cherry notes in the nose, with nice chili-cinnamon spiciness, chocolate and hints of vanilla. A wet mouthfeel, not feeling too thick, a little slick, a tad oily and a decent drying-spicy finish. Some good roasted-chocolate malts as base with the cacao, some good peppery heat, and some vanilla to calm things down a bit. Not a bad Pastry Stout, that is not too sweet, has nice spiciness, vanilla to balance things.
