This Imperial stout is extremely dark in color with flavors of coffee and chocolate and accents of raisins and fig. Don’t let the smoothness deceive you as this imperial stout is strong coming in at 10% ABV.

3oz pour is a murky deep brown/black with some ringing beige head. Nose has malt, toast, raisin, fig, licorice. Flavor is this with licorice and molasses, a little rubber, some raisin, some very dark chocolate. Full bodied, sticky finish. Solid. Would take well to treatments too.

Very nicely done. Musky roast and and dark chocolate. A hint of licorice even. Black pour with decent head. Some raw grain here as well. Good balance. Tap at brewery.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was dark chocolate, fig, raisin, some dark brown sugar. Smooth. Dark bitter chocolate. No alcohol presence at all (no burn). Very deceiving.
