Velvety in texture and unapologetically bold. Barril is a hybrid of imperial stout and black barleywine, aged for 12 months in Rhum Clément and 40-year-old Cognac barrels. It balances warming alcohol and leather with subtle sweetness, dried fruits, and rich cocoa, revealing new depths with every sip. A contemplative sipper: decadent, complex, and crafted for slow appreciation.

Bottle pour @ Biere a Lille 2025. Pours very dark with a large fluffy cream-coloured head. Big hitting rhum mingling flirtatiously with the cognac with some deep malt massaging.. very complex, prominent barrel, interesting sipper.
