500ml bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy dirty blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, slightly herbal, spicy, hay, bread and cereal. The taste is firmly dry, punchy bitterness which lingers, earthy, toasty grains, woody, cereal, some stone fruit, dried apricot and hearty bready malt with a drying finish. Average body and fairly high, foamy carbonation. A hearty malty ale.
