Bottle. Ginseng/chicory, coffee malt, and dry hay aroma. Black with nice tan head. Mildly sweet milky coffee malt and moderately bitter chicory/herbal hay flavor. Good body.

16 oz can poured. Much thanks to Dan for sharing. Pours a near black with a tan swirl head. Coffee heavy aroma with some wood character. Flavor is very dry, oak, coffee, good roasted malt. Dry toasty finish. Very fun beer to try. Good stuff.

16oz can. Entire pint for me. Poured a dark red, amber color with a dark tan head. Aroma was light bitter coffee, roasted malts. Flavor was sweet, creamy roast, with some light coffee character. Not too much coffee here, but enjoyable and refreshing.

Pours a dark brown, with small, creamy head. Roasted grain aroma, some coffee, chocolate. Flavor is mild and lightly sweet, with coffee, chocolate, some licorice, but largely dominated by the roasted grain. Feels a bit watery on the tongue. Smooth finish.
