Damm’s first Märzenbier was created in 1953. In the early years, it was only brewed between October and April and wasn’t made for the rest of the year. In 1955, as it had become a great success, it was decided to brew the Märzenbier all year round. It was given the name Voll-Damm. “Voll” in German means full, complete. The name suited a strong, intense and full-bodied beer. During cooking we add Nugget, Magnum and Taurus variety hops, which are responsible for the characteristic bitterness of Voll-Damm.

Smakuje jak chleb w płynie z przypieczona skórką plus karmel. Barwa głębokiego złota, piana redukuje się do niskiej, ładny lacing. Goryczka bardzo niska, ziołowa, trochę palona. Ciężkie ale dość przyjemne. Jest ok.

Fra lokalt supermarked i Taurito, Gran Canaria. Drukket på terrassen til rom 314 på Cordial Magec. Mørk stråfarget. Klar. Lavt tett skum som daler sakte. God maltaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken brent karamell. Tørr avslutning. Uvariert.

33cl can from Supermercados MAS supermarket in Plaza del Teatro, 1, Málaga, Spain. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is amber, clear. Aroma is malty, bready, bit hoppy. Taste is medium to full malty base, bready, caramel, toast, bit herbal, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, ok, not bad.
