Barrel-aged Witbier + Pu'er tea, 4.8%
For this collab with our friends from Dunham, Québec, we have followed the leadership of their headbrewer Eloi who brought with him 25 years-old Pu'Er tea carefully aged by him since a trip to China in 2002 !
The tea was infused for a short time in our barrel-aged Witbier to yield a complex, funky and deliciously tart beer.
We're very happy with how this one turned out : our B.A. Wit is enhanced by the floral and earthy notes of the Pu'er, while avoiding any excess of tanins or bitterness and remaining very balanced.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy pale golden, white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, floral notes, hints of lemon and subtle yeasty notes. Taste: Refreshing, wheat malt, lemon notes, floral tea notes, some funk and wood. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Light to moderate tartness, very light sweetness. Dry-ish, earthy finish. Nice one.
