Tap at Beer Hunters, Pori. ABV 9.2%? Ruby color, small steady beige head and lace. Alcohol, toffee and leather in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toffee, piney hops, alcohol, bready maltyness. Quite boozy, not so sweet. I could call this barley wine.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark amber with a medium head. Sweet aroma of malt, dried fruit and toffee. Similar taste, also with hops. The body was medium and the finish fairly bitter and with warming alcohol.

Pours dark, hazy brown with a dense head. Malty aroma with notes of fudge and pine needles. Sweet malty taste of fudge and toffee. Pine needles and warming alcohol shows up in the finish.

Very dark brown with thick creamy head. Aroma and flavour are very sweet and sticky. Very much a Barley Wine. Robust, full bodied and very smooth.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours very dark reddish brown with a light brown head. Aroma of malt, caramel, wood, toffee, dried fruit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, rich malty, caramel, toffee, wood, dried fruit, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish with some alcohol. 160317

Botella 33cl en el kraken 07..10..2016. (r28). Lote B415163 hasta 01..08..2018. Color marrón turbio con espuma blanca Aromas y sabores intensos maltosos caramelizados y ligeramente tostados. Frutos pasos algo dulces. Cuerpo medio a intenso con cierto amargo seco final duradero. Recuerdos de Barley wine. Bastante buena.
