Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Just about clear gold. Thin, dense, messy, lasting, sticky, white head. Good looker. Nose has an earthy, pithy, citrus ring to it. Bit of a dessert apple thing, curiously. Sweet, malty backbone. Taste is sweet, then pithy, earthy bitter. Medium body. Finishes pithy bitter. Be better in a day or two this. Not that it’ll last that long...
