Full pour on draft at Bluejacket during their 2nd anniversary event, served in a plastic cup. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of coffee, caramel, dark fruit, toffee, whiskey. Tastes of coffee, dark fruit, chocolate, whiskey, burnt sugar. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty tasty barrel aged scotch ale.

Draft at the source. Cloudy brown color, beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma has vanilla, burnt caramel, fig, toffee, light spice, cocoa. Taste has whiskey, more vanilla, butterscotch bonbons, fig, cinnamon. Not as sweet as I anticipated, a nice finisher or dessert beer.
