Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity nose with white wine and peach. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Paper, honey and white wine. Fairly low bitterness. Not much, really.

750ml bottle pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose has a little poop, some pilsner malt, grass, lemon, straw. Flavor follows with lemon, a little apricot, flowers, grass. Where’s the funk? Probably needed some unfermentables for the bugs to chew.

Hazy, bubbly head. Light tan colour. Aroma shows a touch of tartness and a fair amount of barrel character. The taste has a fair bit if barrel and that’s the part I like. The rest is muddled fruit, a fair bit of yeast and perhaps too much goopy residual sweetness.

4 oz pour on draft at Churchkey. Poured a clear golden with an off white head. Aroma was light tartness, but very drinkable. Enjoyable enough.

Bottled:
Hazy, deep golden with a small head. Aroma is some vague notes of lemons and apples. Somewhat watery mouth feel. Taste apples, lemons and some rhubarbs. More sweet than sour. Pretty bland.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Buy Rite, 10/8/15, Bottled Jun 30 2015
Aroma: The nose of this one is light, some hints of wine barrel and fruit, not much else
Appearance: A mostly clear golden color with a thin white head and some light, drippy lacing
Flavor: Tastes much the same, mildly sour, a little fruity, some barrel notes
Palate: Fairly light bodied, decent mouthfeel, but not great mouthfeel, with a short, lightly dry close
Overall Impression: Well damn, it's kind of a bad start when you tell me a beer is celebrating your history of bold flavor and that beer lacking in both being bold and being flavorful. There's just not enough here. If there was more going on I could maybe find a few flaws that cause it to be dull, but honestly, it's just the total lack of anything close to living up to what they promised. It's not a drain pour or anything, just a weak effort.
