Can from Cornelius Wines. It pours hazy deep reddish - brown with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is rich malty vibes, brown bread, malt loaf, dried fruits, raisin loaf, toffee, toasty grain and wood. The taste is drying, toothy, toasted brown bread, bitter - sweet, earthy, wood, raisin, sultana, fruit cake, toffee, dull coffee and a nip of booze with a drying, woody finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Decent malt driven ale.

440ml can from Leith Bottle Shop - Clear dark amber, lasting white top. Good solid toffee character, boozy caramel, great warming beer. Lush.
