Flight @ the brewery in Barrie. Aroma is grassy, grainy, bready and floral. Pours clear amber color with thin frothy white head and soft visible carbonation. Pours a clean (very slight unfiltered with wee particles), golden colour with a white frothy white cap, decent stay and some mild wet-soapy, tiny lacing spots all-around. Malty aromas that are quite mild for the alcohol content, with cereal notes, minerals and a touch of hops. The taste, again is smooth, but has a tad more punch than the nose. Cereal malts, some light sweetness, mineral notes and decent grassy hop bitterness that lingers. Good dryness that cuts what is usually a thicker, syrupy brew. This is a really smooth, strong lager that hits the spot nicely.
