Keg at BD CLJ during the MTB event, 27/02/15. Amber with reddish hues with moderate off white spotting. Nose is tarte fruit, tangy berry, musty wood, funk, sharp red berry, damp hay. Taste comprises a good acidic vibe, dank wood, dirty red berry, earthy, light spice, barnyard, cobwebs, apple core. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, puckering close with a balanced acidic rinse. Solid sour although I’d have probably had this down as a sour red/brown.

Keg at BD Abz. It pours lightly hazy orange with a decent white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, brett, orange, Irn Bru, white grape and funk. The taste is crisp, bitter, tart, some acidity, wood, white grape skin, gooseberry, peach, vinous, lemon zest and damp with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Really rather great. Aroma is amaze ballz. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour tart woody aroma. Fruity woody sour tart weak funky flavor. Has a fruity sour tart woody finish.

Draught @ BrewDog Bar. Pours hazy reddish orange with a rather small head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sour, fruity and tiny funky with sourdough crackers, lemon juice, raspberries, sour cherries, dark grapes, dry soil, hay, moist wood, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is sour, tiny bitter, slightly malty and slightly fruity with sourdough bread, moist crispbread, lemon juice, blackberries, yoghurt, dark grapes, moist wood, hay, dry soil, minerals, barnyard, lemon zest and hints of vinegar. Mouthfeel is dry, tart, tiny mouth-puckering and medium bodied. Finish is sour with sourdough bread, lemon juice, yoghurt, raspberries, dark grapes, hay, dry soil, minerals, moist wood, vinegar and lemon zest. Solid sour... Didn’t live up to the smell.
