Pours hazy black with a lasting, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of toast, mocha, dark chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, chestnut. Taste has light sweet chocolate, mocha, powdery effect into a bitter core of toast, coffee, underlying nuttiness & umami hints. Quite dry, toasty, earthy hoppy finish, more powdery than creamy, subtle hint of coffee liqueur alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Good beer but needs more 'Imperial' thickness.

Bottle from Albert Heijn, Rotterdam, Holland. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit aroma and taste with a slightly bitter finale. Not a bad porter.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt and chocolate in the aroma. Malty roaty flavor. Sweetish with caramel. Grassy hops. Well behaved stout.

Bottle drank on a bench at Leidesepein. Big, heavy, malty. Retains proper porter characteristics. Chocolate, graham cracker, oily black malt. Pretty solid beer.

I actually enjoyed this at full moon. Good experience. Very smooth, tasty and easy drinkable porter. Dark chocolate, roast and coffee are the most prominent flavor and aroma. Balanced fine sweetness and an ok carbonation level.
