Kessemus. De alom bekende term voor kerstmis onder jonge kinderen. Vorig jaar zweefden we nog in de ruimte, dit jaar staan we met beide voeten in het lab. Deze zware blonde vormt de perfecte overgang: een zorgvuldig geformuleerd recept waarin moutige warmte en kruidige gisting samen een reactie aangaan die goud oplevert. De ketel borrelt, de damp kringelt, en het resultaat is een bier dat zowel speels als precies is.

Hazy light amber with a white head. Malty aroma with some floral hops. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Decent Blond.

Day 1 of the Mr Hop webshop, Vernray, Netherlands advent calendar consumed at home Monday 1st December 2025 listening to ByteFM and cooking Gnocchi, Cherry Tomato and Feta bake. Pours more dark gold, light amber with a slim white head. Nice carbonation, soft mouthfeel, a little hoppy bitterness running through this, sweet maltiness also in the mix, strength apparent but not intrusive, there's a yeastiness and a spiciness. Good. Score 7.0
