A slightly darker golden or amber premium ale brewed with a special blend of Slovenian Styrian Goldings and American Cascade hops complementing a classic combination of crystal and Maris Otter malts. The result is a fresh vibrant aroma of citrus with floral and spicy notes balanced with a biscuity, malty, sweet flavours.

Cask at the source. Clear golden color, huge white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of straw. Taste is slightly sweet, peppery straw. Nice.

Cask at Devonshire Arms, Middle Handley, Derbyshire. Clear, dark golden. Thin, tight, lasting, white head. Lots of toffee sweet malt. Light lemon. Taste is sweet malt, with a light, zestiness. A touch of tartness, too. Creamy palate. Dry, lightly spiced, gentle bitter finish. Decent.
