Stoutzilla has been slumbering in Buffalo Trace barrels for the last half year and is now ready to take the world by storm: our Titan stout has gone to new heights of flavour and depth.
Before barrel-ageing, we enhanced the base Stoutzilla recipe with even more delicious, dark malt for an even bolder body, perfectly fortified to stand up to the time and transformation within the barrel. The result is a complex, rich, jet-black brew that’s furiously malty & lavishly infused with cocoa nibs and locally roasted coffee.
Fortified and punchy, Barrel Aged Stoutzilla emerges with a velvety-smooth mouthfeel, delivering layers of rich chocolate, cold pressed coffee, and a hit of vanilla sweetness.
These flavours evolve into warming bourbon notes, accented by the subtle smokiness and oak character drawn from the barrels. This year’s vintage is unique from previous due to a blend of newly charred American oak and Buffalo Trace wet barrels.

330ml can. Pours jet black with no head. Aroma is boozy, woody bourbon, dark chocolate, bitter coffee and hazelnut. Taste has woody bourbon throughout, with a little coffee and vanilla on the finish. Slightly watery.
