500mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of dark dried fruits, big bourbon barrels, and some spicy toffee. Flavour has plenty oaf bourbon barrels, spiced notes, toffee, and bready malt. Rich, rounded; very malty, lightly spicy. Very good.

Dark amber. Fruity aroma...toffee as well. English style, American strength. Some alcohol, lots of tannins, so it gets dry in the finish, along with some alcohol. Bourbon seems a bit mellow here, even if the barrel character itself is prominent.

750mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a minimal beige head. Light dried fruit, dry caramel, and bourbon barrels on the nose. Flavour has light brown sugars, golden raisins, some light dried fruit, and dry bourbon barrels. Nice, dry barley wine.
