Rich purple in color, this dry cider has a bright berry nose which is followed by a tart and juicy fruit flavor. A touch of sweetness makes this tangy cider supple and refreshing.

Made with: Rogue Farms Cherries, Rogue Farms Plums, Apples, Pears, Marionberries, Peaches & Apricots; Pacman Yeast.

That's probably the best bet.

Taster at One Tree. Amber/ ruby body, flat. Apples and cherries in the aroma. Cherries first in the taste, tart apples. Dries out, sweet then tart.

660ml bottle from Otters Tears, Stoke. Drunk while trying out our new inflatable dingy (a Seahawk 2) on the river. Pours a generally clear red. Sweet, berry fruit aroma. Quite thin on the palate, a bit watery in fact, exceedingly clean and light, tasting just like fruit juice and not resembling a cider in any shape or form. Still, it was refreshing on this hot day so gains a point for that.

On tap at Rogue in Portland, pours a hazy orangey amber with a small white head. Aroma is extremely fruit, with loads of plums and cherries. Flavour is citric and berry-heavy, with lots of berries, some stone fruits and high citric acidity. Not so smooth but it works.

Pretty terrible, like McDonald’s punch. No discernible fruit. Sour-sweet finish. Pink pour. Bottle at tasting a while back.

Solid dry cider. Tart cherry/apple/plum/pear/berry/apricot. Light sweetness. Tart/acidic lingering finish. Crisp/smooth. Solid balance.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours a dirty, hazy purple. Pink tinged head that ran away. Aroma is red berry with both sweet and tart notes. Med minus body. Flavor is sort of muddled fruit with accent on red berry, but room for some stone fruits. Overall it’s tart fruit. Not getting sugar. Mouth impact resembles a moderately hoppy ale, but here the impact is fruit juice I guess. It’s arguably a little bitter, but the finish is best described as tart. I might repeat this in the future.
