Bottle. As weird as this sound, this was a good beer. Cloudy, medium to dark brown in color. Decent head. Aroma was pumpkin pie spice. Taste was mostly pumpkin pie but the lemon was there. Nice.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-dark rugged burnt orange color with a sly fizzling head but no lacing.
The aroma had pumpkin, ginger and allspice up front. Some caramel malts to balance.
The flavor was somewhat sweet underscored by the spice. Lingering sweet bready pumpkin spicy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation feels fine.
Overall, better than the last beer I had by them but still knowing there’s better pumpkin ales on the market.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/2016. Pours slightly hazy orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, wheat, toasted bread, light lemon/ginger, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pumpkin/lemon/spice, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, wheat, toasted bread, light lemon/ginger, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal/spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, wheat, toasted bread, light lemon/ginger, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pumpkin/lemon/spice, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester flavors; with a nice malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate amount of dryness after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderate crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a very good pumpkin ale/shandy style. All around good robustness and balance of pumpkin/lemon/spice, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle pour into pint glass. Aroma is strong cinnamon (like you are walking into a Hallmark store), mild citrus, nutmeg, allspice. Appearance is mild hazy orange brown with finger-width white head and huge amount of sparkle and fair lacing. Taste is strong cinnamon, moderately sweet with mild other pumpkin pie spices. Palate is medium bodied with creamy texture and overall average carbonation with a little bit of fizz at the tip of the tongue and roof of the mouth, dry refreshing finish. Overall, a little bit different than the usual pumpkin beer in that it is more of a cinnamon taste and it is a bit thicker. Always a pretty narrow appeal in my book to a certain time of year and mood, but would be an appealing pumpkin beer in those circumstances.

Bottle at America on Tap Cloudy light golden color. Huge pumpkin pie spice in the aroma and flavor. I think I liked the grapefruit juice one a little more, Not a fan.
