A dark, full bodied ale dominated by malt sweetness and a hint of smokiness. Pours dark brown with a white head. Moderately low hop bitterness to offset the sweetness of the malt, but no hop flavor or aroma.

Draft/Fest. A- Malty, caramel, slight booze. A- Brown color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Malty, caramel, burnt sugar, slightly sweet, subtle booze. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- A little bit lighter as far as scotch ales go but not offensive and a decent beer.

Can at the Great Nebraska Beer Festival. Cloudy orange color, almost flat. Aroma of caramel. Taste is malty and lightly spiced caramel.
