An ESB brewed with Verdant’s yeast. Rich flavours of caramel and toffee from the malts compliment the fruity flavours from the yeast and spice and berry notes from East Kent Goldings hops, whilst a moderate bitterness on the finish ties the flavours together.

Hand pulled half pint, then a full pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 8th December 2025. Clean and clear bright amber body on top an off white crown of tight bubbles/foam. Caramel sweetness married around some spicy berry action and an earthy undertone. Really enjoyed it, hence the pint after my initial half.

Tried from Cask at Old Fighting Cocks on 08 Dec 2025 at 17:00
