A lager that is all buttoned up and inspired by the Japanese lagers that incorporate a heavy hand of rice in the brewing process. Perhaps our most pale lager to date, Seiso feels effortless from start to finish. A blend of pilsner malts and rice, as well as Saaz hops, give this lager a layered aroma of honeysuckle, herbal tea, and bread dough. It is endlessly effervescent, super dry, and can accompany almost any dish out there. We'll have another if you say so.

Half pour draft in a Kolsch type glass at Alma Mader Brewing in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is clear pale golden with a nice small white head and visible carbonation bubbles. The aroma is crisp fresh cereal malt, hint of rice and soft sweetness. The taste is crisp and fresh with the cereal malt, bright rice character and a bit of mineral towards the back. Very fresh. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and the crisp cereal malt and mineral finish. Quite tasty.
