In the dark brewhouse of De Grieze, the air is thick with the scent of malt and madness. Amidst flasks and bubbling bottles, the brewmaster raises his glass, satisfied with an experiment that just barely succeeded. Tripel Madness is a Belgian Tripel with a robust malt body, spicy fermentation, and a hint of sweetness that slowly unfolds. A beer that tastes of curiosity, craftsmanship, and the joy of a successful explosion.

This was my Day 7 beer from my Mr Hop advent calendar, picked up from the webshop, Vernray, Netherlands. Had this Wednesday 10th December 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music and still thinking about cooking Gorgonzola and Walnuts with Penne Pasta. I pick up a bit of vanilla, it's got a nice spicy edge to it. Looks wise it's mid hazy with a white head, it's filmy after dropping quickly. Nice mouthfeel, there is a little buzz, a little slow build of bitterness. This is quite good, however the can art looks horribly AI. Score 6.9
