Bottled pour into ipa glass. Golden white head. Citrus etc. Could stand to be a bit more bodacious

Rich copper coloured body with a dense, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of fresh tropical fruits, plastic, resin and some passionfruit with a good hoppy note of hybrid varieties and a hint of alcohol at the end. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy flavour at first that fades almost immediately to a bitter malt and alcohol flavour that then fades to a nice fruity flavour with concord grapes, green grapes and a little grapefruit noticeable. Aftertaste shows a robust balance of malt and hops with some subtle alcohol warmth and a big bitterness at the end that is great for the style. Overall, a good beer with an odd mix of complexity, but turns out okay at the end. Not worth searching high and low for, but if you can still find this one, it’s worth picking up! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church (Skyline), Virginia on 03-April-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-October-2015.

Sawdust nose, grapefruit and apricot underneath. Cloudy amber, thin head. Triple sec and wood. Full body, fizzy. Fairly well balanced, good bitterness but a little off balance and harsh.

12 ounce bottles from the mix pack. Poured a clear golden color with a small off-white, fizzy head. Aroma was some light tropical fruit notes, flavor was nice pine resin notes. Light sweetness. Some bitter hop cone notes, tropical fruits. Touch of booze on the finish.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden with a thin fizzy off-white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of tropical hops, pine, candied citrus, caramel malt. The taste is bitter resin, piney, tropical, citrus hops. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness. Palate wrecking, nice.
