Minnesota Trip Beer #197. Keg at the brewery, 5/12/16. Clear copper, thin fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of lime and bready malt. The taste is bready malt, pepper, juicy lime. Medium bodied, mild lingering spice.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered dulled orange-tan. Foamy off-white head. Mellow lemon tinged malt tones. Quite sessionable. Not my favorite Grissette I’ce come across, but at least captures the style well. Not a lot of depth though, pretty simplistic mouthfeel. A nice change of pace, respectable enough offering.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of flora with some bitter grass and sweet grain backing. Flavor is a bit more grass forward with growing flora and an earthy grain backbone.

Draught at the new Fulton brewing location in NE Mpls. Hazy yellow color. Flavor and aroma have some citrus, as well as dry hops. The palate is light, but appropriate, and this is a dry saison. Good effort.
