Bottle shared at the WWWW Mid Atlantic Summer Beer Tasting. Yeah, just Big Bad. Clear dark brown red, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of coffee, leather, dark fruits, bandaids. The taste is coffee, leather, sugary fruits. Thin bodied, high carbonation, really off. Pretty bad.

Bottle at the RateBeer WWWW Tasting. 2012 vintage. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of licorice, roast, nail polish. Tastes of licorice, roast, light chocolate, bit of Brett. Light body with a dry and warm finish. It’s got the bad part going for it.

From a 75 cl bottle at the WWWW RB tasting. Pours a clear cola brown with an off white head. Funky nose. Flavors of tart dark fruits with some oak notes. Tangy finish.

Big bad Brett or just big bad? Golden bullshit foil top does nothing to help this beer. Pours black and tastes like sour paint. Bottle.

Bottle. Clear amber maroon color, bright beige head. Aroma of riasty cocia powder and coffee grounds. Taste is sour coffee. Tastes like a mistake.

A- It pours black with a tiny head of foam with very little lacing.
S- I get some notes of Brett but the Barrel aging from the mix of 10lb Brown and Blackout Stout is stronger.
T- Same goes for the taste. Big barrel flavour followed by some Brett, some toasted malt and a mild sweet note or 2.
M- Close to no carbonation, the body is medium, not at all a good mouthfeel.
O- The carbonation, or lack thereof, really hurts or I’d say the Brett could develop over time with some cellaring. Still, hardly a drain pour.
