8.1/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8.5
Poured from a 510 ml bottle. Aroma has moderately strong grape must and Sauvignon Blanc notes. Lighter hop notes with a bit of an herbal character as well as some gooseberry, tropical citrus and tropical fruit. Light funky, earthy notes with hints of oak. Faint grain notes. Pours a slightly hazy, yellow-gold with a medium large, medium thick, frothy, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit on the edges before disappearing. No lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light acidity with faint sweetness and a fairly dry finish. Hints of grain with low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Medium notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes and must with light tannins. Hints of herbal hop notes and a touch of tropical fruit and citrus. Light earthy, herbal funk with hints of phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with fairly high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid beer. I wish I drank this when it was fresher but it's still an absolutely beautiful beer. The hop notes work so well with the grapes and base beer.
