Draft at Monolith. Pours black, with a small, dense, brown head. The nose is dark chocolate, espresso, toasted coconut, star anise, and toffee. Sweet and malty and sugary, with a light, crisp, earthy bitterness. Very heavy body, syrupy, thick, and remarkably clean. Beautiful, clean, decadent.
