Barleywine aged in Rum barrels and finished with butterscotch and vanilla. 14% ABV. From the cellars of old magic pours a deep copper hue with amber tints and a cream-to-copper head. This barleywine opens with aromas of vanilla, toffee, and rum warmth. Rich flavors of dried fruit, brown sugar, and barrel character create a chewy, full body balanced by gentle sweetness and a soft rum-like finish. Inspired by butter beer, it offers a decadent, nostalgic experience.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Nose has tons of butterscotch, rum barrels, vanilla, caramelized sugars, and dark dried fruits. Flavour is rich, with tons of sticky brown sugar, butterscotch, soft rum barrels, caramel, and dark dried fruits. Complex, integrated and well-rounded. Excellent. The first excellent new Bottle Logic I’ve had in a while.

Bottle from the brewery. Dark brown. Thin head. This has a deep fruity aroma, lots of it, dates and figs and plums and stuff. On the palate, there's definitely a lot of butterscotch, and some vanilla, but those are cutting across the fruity, juicy barrel-aged barley wine. Golden raisins. This is really good - like okay the base is juicy, herbal, the butterscotch cuts across, the vanilla adds a little nuance.
