We’ve got nothing but big ol’ hearts dancin’ in our eyes…as we sniff and sip this next release from our little sour beer program that Uncle Papa is lead’n out of The Rave Cave™. This labor of love is fermented in a puncheon barrel (a barrel that is twice the size of a standard barrel) with our house mixed culture, dry hopped with Nelson, and then keg conditioned until just right. It’s funk and fuzzy kiwi on the nose. Palate is SUPER citrusy, reminiscent of a beloved popular grapefruit soda (aka Squirt). Drinks with a bubbly refreshing tartness that finishes crisp and dry!

On tap at Green Cheek Oceanside, pours a lightly hazed blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has a nice bright bugginess, some melon, and soft grains. Flavour has plenty of oak, complex bugs, bright tropical hop tanginess from the Nelson, with a pretty soft, grainy palate. Clean and well-constructed. Excellent.
