Old Money 2023 is a blend of Barleywine brewed in November of 2021. In December of 2021 it was transferred to several Willett Bourbon Barrels where it matured and developed. After nearly two years the barrels were sampled and blended to achieve our ideal expression of Barrel Aged Barleywine.

500 ml bottle, thank you tfontana. 2023 vintage. Aroma shows subtle toffee, raisins, bourbon. Flavor of spicy rye, oak, in a decent malt body. Lots of spicy bourbon lingers after the sip.

Bottle from the brewery. Virtually opaque cola brown, ring of head, light viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon, caramel, earthy malt. Taste is strong caramel, raisin, bourbon (a bit hot). Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste.
