West Coast Belgian IPA with Simcoe, Motueka, & Nelson
Our newest West Coast Belgian IPA! Brewed with our friends at BLAH Brewing & Blind Lady Ale House, this is a fun one! Is it a West Coast IPA? Is it a Belgian IPA? Who’s to say! Brewed with typical West Coast and Belgian yeasts, and Simcoe, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin hops, this beer thoughtfully melds the two styles together. A bright aroma of tangerine and white grape anchored with a hint of white peppercorn evoke the aromas of a Belgian Ale. Upon your first sip, notes of citrus and sweet fruit at the front and a lingering bitterness at the end. A hint of resinous pine gives you that delicious hop flavor you expect in a West Coast IPA. There’s a nice dryness that invites you to take another sip, that this one really grows on you! Coming in at 5.8% ABV, this IPA will keep you coming back!

On tap at Seek Beer Co, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has bright tangy hops, woody pine, and gooseberry. Flavour is super bright, with big tangy hops—gooseberry, white wine tang—along with pine, and some melon. Very light biscuity malt base. Wonderful NZ hop brightness. Killer.
