Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 17/03/2026.
Pitch black with a good sized tan head.
Nose is tangy dark fruit esters, molasses, hint of liquorice, spice, charr.
Taste comprises dark malts, cocoa powder, molasses, tangy fruit rinds, dates, raisins, ashen nip.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze.
Okay sipper if a little overly tangy ... not one to revisit.

Can. Near clear but, very dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, airy, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth but, for the style, pretty light bodied dark malts. Smooth dark malts cream. There is a fair bit of chocolate here but, not delivered in the usual way. I think there are adjuncts at play here. There is an Amburana like floral woody sweetness and tang. Very ripe and rich tangy dark fruits on the back end, pruney, mild dates. Mild spice on the tangy finish. Interesting brew, need to refer the Portuguese on the can to G**gle translate and, maybe work out what I am drinking. Tasty, if tangy affair.
