This beer has been a long time coming. A blend of imperial stout aged in bourbon, Tennessee whiskey, and maple-syrup barrels since 2021, then brought together after years of quiet work. Long Story Short is the synopsis of this delicious tale: dark-chocolate richness, port-wine depth, and deep oak notes woven into one neat pour.

Svart med minimalt skum. Lukter kaffe og brent karamell. Søt. Smaker knekk, kaffe, bourbon, lønnesirup og fat. Middels lang.

Bottle, huge thanks Sandi for sharing it with us! Pitch black with traces of a greyish head. Strooong woody barrel notes, light old barrel touch at first, dusty, oaky, brown sugar, salmiakki, alcohol, raisins... whoo weee! Smooth, sweet taste, raisins, caramel, chocolate, salmiakki, maple, sugary notes - but not excessively so, quite warming... The body-alcohol flavor balance is excellent really, full yet the warmth is well integrated. Delicious by all means.

Bottle. Full bodied, with roasted malts, dark chocolate and some coffee. Sweet, malty, with toffee and caramel. Quite delicious. 848416 251219
