Weizen hoch 10 - das ist der Weizenbock. Er ist dunkler als ein klassisches Weizen und sein Geschmack ist viel intensiver, kräftiger und runder. Vollreife Bananenvibes treffen auf eine satte Textur mit dichter Konsistenz. Apropos dicht. Unser Weizenbock ist stark im Geschmack und schnell im Kick. Passt zum Winter und als kleines, feines Gute-Nacht-Bier. Prost.

0.5 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before January 2020. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of caramel, banana, clove and some honey. Quite sweet, malty, gently yeasty-spicy and minimally fruity taste of caramel, banana, clove and hints of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and minimally chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Weizenbock, easy to drink but not overly deep.

Bottle. Murky brown color with tan head that goes down quickly. Aroma is rotten fruits, phenolic-boozy, bready, a bit dusty. Taste is more rotten fruits, a bit minerally, dry finish. Quite high carbonation. Is this intended to be like this? It’s not very pleasant.

A cloudy, mod orange yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A typical wheat beer aroma, thick with tropical fruit, clove and cinnamon spice and a background cereal note.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangebraunes Bier mit schöner großen Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Der Antrunk ist sehr malzig fruchtig süß. Im Mittelteil Aromen von Marzipan. Im Abgang Karamell, würzig.

Schon der Antrunk ist aufdringlich süß-scharf. Sehr hefig. Schmeckt in Anklängen so wie der Ziegenbock auf der Flasche... Ein Bißchen säuerlich. Dabei auch klebrig-süßlich. Wirkt sehr dickflüssig. Irgendwie muffig-komisch…

500ml bottle. Murky brown colour with lethargic, half-way lasting, filthy off-white head. Wheaty aroma, bready notes, a touch of caramel, yeasty overtones, a lemon dash. Taste is wheaty, bready, yeasty, a dark malty touch of caramel and milk chocolate with hints of orange zest, a touch of coffee, phenolic overtones. Slightly unbalanced, interesting dark malty notes for a Weizenbock.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thx! The back label calls 0,75 l and 7,0% alcohol. Pours brown and cloudy, small head. Herb banana and yeast with dry fruits on the nose. Starts herb bitter and low fuity with alcohol. Malty sourness, later licorice. A little bit strange and unbalanced for a Weizenbock. Not easy to drink.

Bottle. Cloudy orange brown with a short lived head. Aroma is wheat and yeast. Flavour is sweet fruity, warming alco on a light roasted malt finish.

Der hellmalzige und hefige Antrunk ist stark karbonisiert und leitet schnell in den intensiveren Mittelteil über. Dieser ist deutlich hefiger und malziger, dazu mild bananig. Das Bier hat hier einen weichen Körper, die Aromen sind im Gesamten trotz ihrer in Intensität cremig. Zum Ende wird der Alkohol ersichtlicher, die Bananigkeit nimmt zu. Ein netter und erfrischender Weizenbock. 9/12/12/12/11/12
