Tap at rattle for lunch. My unblended streak continues. Dusty orange pour. Faint nose of citrus and basement. Tastes of lemon, peach, cellar floor, some light medicine. Puckering. Not bad.

Draft at Hop Cat in Madison. It’s a really good sign that the very first beer of my WI trip for GRMW is a British spontaneously fermented unblended lambic. What else would I expect? Cloudy golden color, thin white edge head. Aroma of dusty overripe lemon and wet blankets. Taste is softly sour black pepper, grapefruit, pineapple. Good body. This is the real deal.
