Draft pour at 192. Pours a caramel color with a mild malty aroma. Sweet, rich malty caramel flavors. Finishes smooth. Not a bad beer, but not exactly my style. Would drink again though.

Refrigerated brown bomber which has a label that has a ram rowing a boat, poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy crimson with medium off white head. Aroma is lilght herbal hops, emdium body, medium carbonation, and good big bubble lacing. Tatsei caramel malt, herbal hops. I would think of this beer as an imperial amber ale rather than a weizenbock.

Hazy brown and muddy coloured body with a great, thick tan head - very nice looking! Aroma of bread, yeast, coriander seed, malt, cinnamon and a touch of alcohol - oh yeah, a lot of brown sugar too. Medium-bodied; Strong squash and pumpkin flavour with some malt and yeast showing soon behind with a lot of alcohol, sweetness and sugars touching on the back-end. Aftertaste is a bit complex, but showing largely wheat, yeast and sugars. Overall, a fairly good weizen bock, on the lighter side of the style, but I like that, especially in the large format bottle. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 09-November-2011 for US$3.99 sampled at home in Washington after returning from holiday on 02-January-2012.
