Have we saved our best NEIPA until last this year? Maybe!

It's been a long while since we used Waimea hops (from New Zealand) in a beer and this one makes us wish we'd returned to them sooner. A real murky juice bomb, this 6.2% New England IPA packs a punch.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/06/2026.
Murky deep orange topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is bitter orange, light grapefruit, hint of bubblegum, mandarin.
Taste comprises ripe melon, mandarin, candied orange peel, hint of perfume.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness.
Decent.

Missed the tasting again solo can. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Waimea and Idaho 7 hops bring an intriguing hop profile. Cooling pine into a soft limey vibe that is run through with a kinda Parma Violets candy streak. Idaho 7 fills in all the gaps. Airy semi dry finish brings stronger cooling pine. Different and drinkable.

Can from The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Nose is white pepper, peach, apricot, some tropical fruits. Taste is peach, mango, apricot, some liquorice?...definitely there, splash of citrus fruits, light earthy undertones. Lightly bitter aftertaste.
