Light raspberry and a lot of oak. Hay amber pour. Soir and astringent finish. Some bretta. Too oakey for me. Some citrus. Bottle thanks to iphonephan.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Aroma is oaky, vanilla, lacto, brett. Pours slightly hazy golden-orange with a dissipating off-white head; virtually all traces of foam disappear after about ten minutes. Taste is oaky (too much if you ask me), sour (5/10 on a sour scale), very dry. Not sure what a golden raspberry is, but I don’t really get any kind of raspberry character here. Body is thin, mouthfeel is fairly foamy. Good. Would have been better with a little less oak, though.

Pours a clear golden-yellow, with big, fast-dissipating head. Aroma of sour fruit. Flavor is quite tart/sour, with hints of raspberry and some lemon.

I picked up a bottle at 2nd St Discount liquors...$14.29.

Corked and caged bottle let out a pop when said cork was removed.

It sure is a golden coloured brew. Small layer of foam on pouring that soon dissipates to a few islands and a ring around the glass. Looks a bit on the hazy side.

Big woody notes with just as big sour notes from the raspberries. Through one nostril, I could swear that I notice some fruity sweetness. ;^)

Wow, the taste holds no undo surprises; fits the smell to a T. The fruit has such a freshness, tart and lesser..sweet, but I know the things been aging in the oak. Speaking of which, I dig the mildish, sometimes more noticeable, woody character.

Medium body? I think so. Good carbonation? Yes.

This is hella good!
