Keg beer of the month, February 2015.

Why Crow Mother? Well, because Angwusnasomtaka was way complicated to pronounce for us simple folks from Amager.

And then because way too few beers are named after the proud Hopi mythology.

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. It’s almost black in the glass, with a dense finger thick beige head leaving curtains. It’s roasted on the nose, with coffee and a nice resiny hoppiness. Citrus peel, pine cones, some orange and a good roasted backdrop. Coffee and chocolate and a nice bitterness. It’s full bodied and quite dry on the palate, soft. Lasting roasted finish with a solid dose of American hops. Quite lovely. 150515
